This is Winston, an adorable puppy that has recently been adopted by the Royal Navy in Um Qasr. Here is his story in his owners own words:
”Little Winston was found in Umm Qasr camp hiding by the bins, shivering and whimpering. He was taken in and washed up and emerged a very much cleaner little pup! He was alone by the bins, however outside the wall was a litter of puppies which are believed to have been drowned or shot. Now however he enjoys playing with everyone, sleeping and eating proper food.
